Terms & conditions
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of grit, a creative studio operated by Vishal Kaithoju. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your work and your rights
You retain your rights to the material you bring to grit and the work you create. You are responsible for having permission to use your images, videos, fonts and other content, including any rights needed to publish or use the resulting work commercially. Processing a file does not grant rights to someone else's material.
Grit's branding, site content, sample artwork and third-party assets remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. Being able to preview or remix a sample does not grant a blanket commercial license to that sample.
Using the studio
Use grit lawfully. Do not infringe another person's rights, distribute unlawful content, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site to harm others.
Saving and exporting
Keep your own copies of important work. Browser storage can be cleared, become unavailable or change between devices. A settings link is not a backup of your uploaded media. Exported projects and files may contain your source material; share them only when you intend to share that content.
Availability and limitations
Features, output and performance can vary by browser, device and source file. The service may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, grit is provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free operation or suitability for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect losses or loss of work resulting from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains local file processing, browser storage, hosting, analytics and contact information.
